  1. Punjab – The most populous province, home to the city of Lahore.
  2. Sindh – Includes the city of Karachi, the largest in Pakistan.
  3. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – Known for its mountainous terrain and cultural heritage.
  4. Balochistan – The largest province by land area, with a significant Balochi population.
  5. Gilgit-Baltistan – A mountainous region in the northern part of Pakistan.
  6. Azad Jammu and Kashmir – An area administered by Pakistan, but claimed by India.
  7. Islamabad Capital Territory – The capital city of Pakistan.
  8. Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA)

There are four provinces in Pakistan: Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Balochistan and more ,Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K).

Please note that Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are not officially recognized as provinces by the Government of Pakistan, but have their own government and administrative system and are considered part of the country.

In addition to the provinces listed, Pakistan also has two autonomous territories: Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Islamabad Capital Territory. The other two territories, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Islamabad Capital Territory, are not provinces but have special administrative status.

Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) is a former tribal area which has been merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in 2018 and Islamabad Capital Territory is a federal territory and it is the capital city of Pakistan.
